We are continuously looking for highly motivated and talented new graduates, undergraduate students and postdocs interested in research at the interface of micro- and nanotechnology and neuroengineering.
Graduate students
We are hiring graduate students in the area of Neuroengineering, Neuronal Signaling, Biophysical Modeling, Micro- and Nanofabrication, Cell Assays and Automation Bio Devices for Fall 2024!!!
- Interested graduate students need to be accepted by the graduate school at Montana State University (MSU). Once accepted you can contact the P.I. (Contact) for current research project opportunities.
- The Kunze Lab is currently affiliated with the following programs:
- Electrical Engineering (EE) Graduate Program
- Material Science Graduate Program
- Montana PEAKs Fellowship Program in Mathematics
- MSU's Molecular Biosciences Program
- We also consider co-mentoring students from other programs related to our research area e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Microbiology and Cell Biology, or Neuroscience.
- The priority application deadline for EE PhD program is January 15, 2024.
- During the application phase we encourage applicants to indicate their interest in working in the Kunze Neuroengineering Lab in their personal statement.
- Also check out lab independent funding opportunities / fellowships for graduate research at MSU.
Undergraduate Students
Highly motivated undergraduate students from all Departments at MSU are welcome to join our lab for research projects (computational, experimental, art in science) related to neuronal cell engineering. Please contact the P.I. with a short resume, your research experience, ideas and interest.
